yesterday i found out that i had a large crack in my pipe connecting the air filter to the engine (see pic) . drove pretty hard racing roomates modded '92 stealth tt.
1. is there a reliable temporary fix?
2. any stores sell this specific part?
3. this piece comes in a hard pipe, correct?
4. i am buying the apex power intake...the conversion listed on mkiv only uses a small connector, doesn't replace this hose, correct?

an idea.....Just take your new Apexi intake, and your car to an exhaust shop or machine shop, have them fabricate metal piping to connect the apexi to the MAF, and then the MAF to the intake pipe. Use silicon joints and hose clamps similar to intercooler kits. you should be able to find various sizes of silicon joints at performance shops.

hope this helps a bit
