Is there anyway to fix the thread for the 2 interior bolts on the front caliper. I think mine were stripped or something, there are 2 outer bolts and 2 longer inner bolts and the 2 on the inside get real tight too soon, the bolt is fine and goes in perfectly on the other side so im guess the thread in the hole is messed up, I think I might just need to buy a new caliper...not sure why this happend.

the hole is a 14mm too..

I really dont want to skimp on brakes, as they are one of the most important parts of the car but it does already have the other 2 bolts that are perfectly secure and if it can be fixed back to normal with this it might be worth not spending $300 for a new caliper.

try rebuilt calipers from your local auto parts dealer. I replaced all 4 for a nominal cost. you need to turn in your old ones to refund the core charge. don't scrimp on parts that can save your life.

not sure what the setup is like on a turbo model's caliper, but on the na caliper
it has 2 bolts that hold the caliper to the mounting bracket and then 2 bolts that allow the caliper to "slide" when pressure is applied or released....those are supposed to have a smooth texture to them for roughly 3/4's of it's length...not sure if this helps....
