Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows of a quick guide on how to flush the clutch fluid? I'd appreciate any help as my workshop manual simply says drain the fluid heh.

Do it like a brake system.

Pump the clutch, open the bleeder valve, and keep putting in the new fluid until the new fluid comes out through the bleeder screw.

10 min job.

Get a speed bleeder, and that will make it a 5 minute job..

i dont get what the point of bleeding the clutch, how does it help from just leaving you old oil in?

The same reason at some point you will have to change your brake fluid when it goes from the clear it originally was to brown/black. The fluid breaks down and affects performance, maybe not in a huge way but more for piece of mind. Moisture over time will build up in the system or you may have some air in the system. Just go get a decent size container of brake fluid, whatever brand it may be. Use the speed bleeder or get a friend to help and do the pump/fill method until the fluid comes out clean and clear. Cake job.

^^ yes use dot 3 or dot 4 fluid (brake fluid)
