Hey 7301 Owners,

When you switch from cd to radio (or vice versa), does the antenna go up(down)? When I had my old Premier P600, the antenna stayed up when the headunit was on and didn't go down when I played cds. I've also been told this happens on the P1R as well (I'm still debating on which HU to get...7301 or P1R...).

my antenna stays up as long as the unit is turned on.

good thing it does stay up or that would be a lot of wear and tear on the antenna mast.

I have my unit hooked up so that when I play cds it goes down. I actully like it like so it reminds me if i go to a car wash that when radio is on the antenna is up...there's a way to hook it up so that it will be seperate...let me know if you need the info..
