Some of the company's that sell them say 'let it set for 5 minutes'...I'm finding that it can take an hour or more for the mixture to settle to it's final resting place. The testers are accurate when properly used, but I've got a feeling that some people are not letting them set nearly long enough. I'm using the Zeitronix in-car unit now, but I'll still use the tube for various reasons.

Mine usually takes about 30 minutes to fully 'settle', but I've let it sit overnight with the cover on, and it stil gives the same value.

The one I have is made my Quick Fuel Technology.
thats the one that i used last night and checked mine right on 85% and it separated very quickly but in the instructions it says leave sit for like 5 mins. after a good majority has settled you get the idea of where its at. i havent seen one change but sitting it over night. A digital gauge like the zetronics would be nice though.
