Ford over seas made some truly badass cars.... still do. I'd rock a focus RS any fucking day if we could get them. Golf GTI, anything cosworth powered, etc. etc.

 

I'd love to rock a Focus RS, it's such a badass little car. I have a thing for hot hatches anyway.

 

Ah that sucks. Too bad they don't make cool cars anymore. The Lightning, 03 Cobra, GT500, Falcon, Cosworth Escort, Euro Focus, Ford GT, etc just don't exude that same passion.

BTW, wouldn't that be a part of Ford's larger plan of consolidating its international line-up? I'd rock an RS as a daily driver. In a heartbeat.

Has nothing to do with the fast and furious. I was just reading up on some cosworth engines, and remembered this car from gran turismo.

 

haha, last year i found out that a used evo 8 in greece goes for 40,000 euro, thats 53k US for a used evo..
someguy was selling a used c5 vette for 70k euro, thats 93k US for a 7 year old c5

 

it looks like the engine won't last long on high hp . put 4g63 in it and 800whp. shit what can beat you with a car like that?

 

The motorsport versions of the BDT are elongated and feature tons of material between the cylinders and lots of cooling. They're essentially as bombproof of a 4cyl as we've seen aside from the mostly untested 4L billet engine from Norwood.

 

They seriously cut no corners when they made that car. Light weight, mid engine, awd, turbo 2L light weight high reving. Intercooler gets good air flow.

 

+1 a bitchin' car indeed.

 

With the arrival of the RS200, lancia delta S4 evo, and the coming porsche 959 gruppe B, the rally sanctioning body quickly dropped the series knowing things were quickly getting out of hand.
