I noticed this problem just recently and it occurs when I'm slowing down. It thuds at a constant rate. But, it comes and goes. I just don't know where to start.

Do you feel it shaking on the brake pedal? Also a little shaking in the steering wheel, one or both? Could be that your brakes are warped. Get your discs turned and put on new pads, that should do it for you if that's the problem. You could also feel your front and rear discs, they should all be flat, if it's uneven in any of the discs that would be my guess what your problem is. I had that prob but in a diff car. It happens when just one caliper is replaced and not the other. It creates uneven pressure (braking) and eventually warps your discs. That braking problem comes back after a year or so if you only turn your rotors and get new pads and if you don't change out the calipers. Just take a look at your discs.
