ok so idk about you guys but i love the look of the valve overs open viewed....now his post is to show the jz sstyle intake manifolds on the 7m....can any of you tell me if you guys got anymore power out of them...pictures also of your setups

Probably from the larger throttle body lol. Alot of guys go with a FFIM because of larger ICs that have in and outs on opposite sides.

I went with a FFIM for several reasons.

1. Shorter charge piping = faster response to boost.
2. Easier access to change spark plugs.
3. The piping is less likely to get heat soaked sitting over the turbo.
4. Larger intercooler without U bends.
5. For larger plenum size and shorter runners to increase top end flow.

X2 on the other forum.
I went FFIM because I really didnt like the idea of spending $200+ on an intercooler just for the piping to go over the turbo. Shorter piping is also a big bonus. The pics:
