I need to order an intercooler today! :69: It must be a "top-to-bottom" style intercooler for front mount use in my sc300 like this:

I've found two intercoolers on ebay that seem suitable for the job. Which one is better and are there any other same-style intercoolers that cool more efficiently with less pressure drop?:

I like the price of this 2nd one better :).

SC300 Specs:

2JZ-GE engine with Supra TT headgasket = ~9.1:1 compression
TE-44 Turbo (60 trim with .63 A/R Garrett exhaust turbine)
DaveH 2JZ-GE NA-T manifold & kit
Tial 40mm wastegate
RX7 550cc injectors
Map-ECU (MAF removed)

XS too. Cant beat the price, and they arent really "bad" as others have claimed. They will get the job done

How do the cores compare and will the XS ones still be okay at 17psi daily driven?

i dunno the xs one is kinda small, the treadstone one looks a little better too (which i doubt would do anything for performance). If youre running 17+ psi you will want a larger one though IMO. XS one has the mounts on top so it might be easier to mount...but might be a little small. Treadstone flows nearly 1500 cfms too...xs is 1200.

the treadstone one has a larger core volume compared to the supra TT SMIC AND a lot of turbo mustangs guys have been raving about treadstone intercoolers working exceptionally well. So, I'm going to purchase that one and create some sealed duct for it to increase air through the fins a lot :).
