I hope you guys can help me figure this one out. I have a 95 NA 5 spd. When I accelerate hard and reach about 5000 rpms, sometimes my car will just stop accelerating for a second and then kick in again? I'm still holding the accelerator down, it just seems like the fuel cuts out. Any suggestions?

Reset your ECU and see if it still does it. Also, make sure all sensors are plugged in.

...sounds like ignition more than fuel because of the upper RPMs, do your lights dim out or anything? check your battery ground for corrosion.

I have reset the ECU, same story. Nope, nothing else happens when the cut does. It acts as if I let off the gas pedal completely and then stepped back on it. Anybody?!?

hello bad ignition =). check the distributer cap, or the plugs, do you feel like a bad vibrating, or like the car just kinda poops then goes. thats what mine feels like when its missing at high rpms
