I have a MKIII that I just installed a walbro 255 in. I cleaned the tank before installing and changed the fuel filter. I run 550cc injectors with a dual feed -6 rail, -4 return to regulator and -6 back to tank.

After driving for around 20 minutes without shuting car off the pump gets loud. Once it gets really loud if I try and boost there is a big lack of fuel. If I simply turn the car off then restart its good to go again. I have now done the fuel pump rewire and 12v mod. I also have the canistor removed and have since added a 2 way vented cap. Does anyone have a idea on how to fix this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a post there. A few of them said to try here that someone may of had a similar issue. Since its the same walbro. I did check this weekend and the pump only gets 11.8 volts. (need a bigger alternator). I wonder if the low voltage would cause it?
