2. drain tank
3. undo 3 fuel lines
4. undo wiring up top in trunk
5. undo 2 bolts, drop tank
6. take out all the small screws where pump is
7. remove pump with bracket
8. install in reverse order
...depending on which side you drop it from, (front or back), you'll need some DEEP 14mm and 17mm sockets. You can remove the brackets from the front of the tank, and it will hang on the hinges, on the rear brackets.... Anyways, you'll see once you start. Don't try to mess with removing the straps or anything more complicated than just loosening from the brackets. If your rear brackets won't come loose, at worst you'll just have to F with those hinges held on by cotter-pins.
Drain the tank 1st, especially if you are working alone.... it's bulky and will be heavy if full or even halfway.
