·my gas gauge has no power the needle jsut sits at the bottom, i checked all the fuses and power lines, all the harnesses, and nothing, i need soem ideas on what it could be, or does this happen to alot of supras?
It goes outside of the sub tank. You have to drop the assembly in so the float does not rub the sub tank through its full range of motion. I've noticed when tightening the retaining ring, the assembly tends to what to rotate which could cause the float to hit the sub tank and cause bad readings. You have to keep the assembly in the proper position when tightening the ring.Grumpy said:a bump to the thread.
I am having the same problem. I went to check the sender in the tank. I forgot where it has to go.
Does the floater have to go into the smaller tank or the bigger tank wihin the fuel tank?
