I have a 89 auto 7mgte, I needed a new gauge cluster so I bought one off ebay, its not compatible, it has tems, mine does not, there might be other differences but that's all I can see. Can anyone share some knowledge about the clusters like which are compatible and does any one have one I can buy or trade for the one I have either that or I'm going to try and sell it... this is one of the last things I need so its frustrating.

The Turbo and Non Turbo clusters are different. The RPM gauge on a NA is voltage driven as the turbo is Pulse. Other than that.....it should work just fine. I put a NA cluster in my Turbo and just changed the electronics. What isnt working on it? Tems sholdnt stop the cluster from operating correctly. qa

The new cluster has tems and I have to turn my ECT on to get some of the gauges to work. My car doesn't have tems.
