I have an 89 supra with a non-working cluster. I got on ebay and got a working cluster, but its out of an older mk3 model... My speedo goes up to 160 mph on the original, but the older (ebay) one only goes up to 140 mph.

My question is can I combine the 2 and make one to work in my car? If so, how? Or is there a way to make this work at all?

Yes, just use your screwdriver and transfer the gauges! That is a simple swap...

but that cant work the spedo is different and possably everything else but idk can i maybe just swap full spedos and have the ebay one work or what

and on the note i thin the whole set up is different but idk the lights for check engine and all is different so idk

it would be easier to just buy one that fits, or just figure out whats wrong with the original one.

There is a write-up somewhere on this! I swapped all of the gauges out of a broken 89+Turbo cluster into my 88 N/A cluster, piece of cake!!!

only the spedo moves it dont light that i know of nothing else moves ect..... however the door light and ect.... do light up

No, he's saying transfer the entire gauge itself, not the face, it's held on by 2 screws..
