I have heard that the gearbox from the Toyota Hiace van fits the 2JZ engine. Can somebody verify this? If so, which year and model?

No, I'm not gonna use this gearbox, but I need the housing so I can make my BMW gearbox fit...

Actually we did have the Toyota DLX and LE mini vans here in the mid-80's. There was a 2.0 and a 2.2, 4-cyl engine... I'd be quite surprised if the bell housings fit.
