I am currently having the half seals replaced in my 6sp. Does anyone know of anything else i should do to it while it is apart? Maybe preventative maintenace or to strengthen it?
thanks,
John

What do you mean by the "half seals"?????

The case uses silicone sealer between the halfs.[Part#00295-01281]

You should at least replace the Input and Output shaft seals while it's out.

Input shaft seal # 90080-31037
Output shaft seal#90080-31029
Shift rod seal #90080-31032

Curt, the shaft that goes into the rear of the tranny, that connects to the shifter shaft, is that this ? (shift rod case seal-#90080-31032[TT 6spd])???? Email me and let me know. If it is, I need it asap! Thanks bud.

Oh, btw, I just finished installing the 6spd today. It runs really well. When I checked it after about a 3 mile ride, I noticed a little bit of fluid coming out of this seal. ( An O-ring type of seal)
