going rounds with Toyota...what exactly does a BCC do.

The Toyota service manager is giving me hell because of the B.C.C. He said that it is causing to car to make way way way to much boost and that is why the frist turbo is not coming on. I told him he was full of shit,
My question is even with a BCC installed an NO boost controller the car will still run at 14 psi max. correct.

My mod s are this, BCC down pipe, trd cat back. So with the actuators hooked up the car will still make only the 14

With the boost controller off, your max. boost will just be over 14 psi and closer to 15 psi. With my DSBC turned off, I can hit 1.05 kg/cm^2 which is 14.93 psi.

Too much boost is causing the first turbo not to come online?? The Toyo service manager is smoking crack.
ok thank you, see i dont even have a boost contorller, all ive got is the bcc.

anyway to make them happy i took that and hte down pipe off. Now you can really tell there is a boost leak in one of the hoses. It maks .2 bar on #1 and .6 on #2.

Im about 1000% sure they just dont want to work on it, its a warranty clame...and we all know how they feel about doing warranty work........

thanks again
You brought your car in to a dealer for warrenty service and you have a downpipe, BCC and exhaust. Now you are wondering why they don't want to track your boost leak under warrenty!!! They should be hassling you. You voluntarily admitted and demonstrated that you voided your warrenty. Any work they are doing on your car should be considered a favor. There is a clear link between a boost leak and intention over boosting on the car.

You should take your car home and find the problem yourself. Then remove the mods and take it to another dealer. Don't piss off the first dealer because he can void your warrenty permanently with Toyota.
they dont have a problem with the parts, they sold me the warranty with the car the way it sets. Besided two years i had the same problem and it was 100% stock, they still didnt want to work on it,
