Not if your motor is in good shape... Use common sense... If your motor is smoking or over heating or has an ass load of miles and making wierd noises, then NO, do go wot... But if the motor is clean, low miles, well maintained, new mhg w/ARPs, then yeah, boost and let loose... :)

I tend to have a heavy foot. *Who doesnt?* But I'd like to know if its okay to go wot and accelerate quickly every now than? Would I damage my motor by doing this? Help.....

as long as you have correct amount of oil in your engine and already did a headgasket job...i see no MAJOR problems.

Let me first say how fucking DIFFERENT going WOT in an N/A is from going WOT in a modded turbo car

No offense to the N/A'ers...but today I felt for the first time how much it actually pulls with even around 10 psi! I believed people when they said it, but the other time I felt boost was on a 1JZ with stock turbos (aka N/A powerband with actual power).

And the 10 psi is only an assumption

What was the point of that post?^^ I dont think anyone asked a question referring from power differences from a n/a compared to a turbo
Sorry....still feel all tingly inside...I need to take you for a ride so you know what I am talking about!

On topic...assuming general maintenance was taken care of, you should be fine.

Greatest thread ever. Someone sticky this.

As long as you paid attention in school and got a good job instead of smoking crack and dropping out cause you were doing crystal meth behind the school from a lightbulb, you should be OK.
