Im looking for something, super plush, cant even begin to feel the road, quiet cabin 4 door, great gas milage, maybe semi sporty but not super important.kinda like the lex 430.but it sucks major fuel.maybe cts?

nothing too new or stupid expensive. im looking in the 02 to 05 range, buying new cars is too stupid for me

I was thinking Caddy before I finished your first paragraph. You can opt to drive a lady (MB) to work but they are likely more expensive and most likely less reliable.

I have heard many people say that their GS Lexus' had "wheel shake" above 60mph. Mostly on cars with aftermarket wheels. Any of you had this problem?

I personally like the GS400 and have considered buying one, but I don't want a Lexus that feels like a Geo Metro on the highway........

Something from Infiniti might work out for you, the cars are sometimes underrated for their comfort, reliability, and affordability.

yea the q45 is pretty nice, some good options here guys,I was also looking at the caddy cts, some of gms stuff is actually pretty fuel efficient now,I also really like the plush leather in the caddy.... the deville is pretty nice as well.seems like you really have to get pretty new cars to get efficient v8s though.I know didly about any of these cars or the years they came out with newer tech in the motors,Im just really sick of paying 4.60 a gallon for my diesel truck and gettin beat around in it cause its lifted and the supra cause its lowered. I really want a COMFY car now for long trips and DD

R's aren't to comfortable to drive depending on the area you live in. All my XJR customers (in DC area) complain about their skinny tires and 19/20" wheels that get bent all the time and always have vibration issues. On top of that brakes and tires cost a lot, especially if you have P Zero's and/or brembo brakes. Keep in mind the roads in DC and surrounding areas suck.

If you get a jag get an 04 or 05 XJ at a Jag dealer w/ a "select edition" aka certified warranty for 2 more years/100k and consider an "extra mile" warranty for an additional 2 years after that. You will probably spend $4000-5000 on warranty's but it will pay for itself and you have one of the best warranties I have ever dealt with. Both warranty's will buy super expensive engine work and transmissions even when the repairs are worth more then the car at the 7-8 year old mark.

IMHO, nothing on the road can compete with the comfort and quality of the LS430, (maybe LS460 or LS600, lol). Its the best car I ever owned and now regret selling it even for the amazing profit I made. The car was super reliable, granted look like a grandpa and I was only 21 but damn it that car was good. I wouldn't mind buying one again and definitely would be the top choice for ultra luxury car.

As many others have said, get a Lexus GS.

Yah I would say lexus and Infiniti both have the best bang for the buck as far as a luxury/sporty car goes. My mom drives an IS350 and it's the shit! pretty quick like low 13's, every luxury feature you'd want, great sound system, and extremely comfortable. They are around 30-40k for an IS350.. you could probably find an 06 for a decent price and the IS250 is even cheaper. Only difference is they have a 5spd option and AWD.

ES300/330 Camry reliability/mileage, lexus comfort and you don't have to worry about where you park it.

Best bang for the buck bar none for this type of car: 2003/04 Infiniti M45.

My fun car is a Z32, but like you I wanted plush 4-door and very comfortable and went with the M. If you look at the current prices, they are hard to beat w/ low miles, and every one of them has a 340 hp 4.5L. On the highway I regularly get 26 MPG (albeit only about 18-20 city). 0-60 was estimated by C&D at 5.7 seconds and I believe it (with a proper launch). They also handle very well for a 3800+ lb car. I also got through a Cleveland winter without issue with the winter tires I put on the car (and traction control on!).

It has stability/traction control (which can be overridden), brake distribution, lots of air bags, heated/cooled seats, and optional Nav (although they all have the screen).

I love the car very much! Also they are very rare with < 8k imported and only produced for 18 months.

If you think they are ugly, you aren't the only one, but I for one love the look.

Its actually re-badged Nissan Gloria, they just slapped a v8 in it. Reminds me of late 70s early 80's domestics’. Excellent looking car I just don’t know if V8 daily is what he needs. I was looking myself to pick one of them up for a daily, just can’t fund a good reason to burn $200 on gas alone.

I vote GS300, affordable and very reliable.

GS350's are sweet, they are also a bit faster than the GS430's were and about as fas as an M45.

chuck,i was just going to ask that question,I test drove a gs 430 and loved it,but the fuel meter was reading14.9 ag,I gotta get someting better than that,I have the $ for fuel, but that doesnt stop me from feeling RIPPED off at the gas station every time i go.
I was looking at the gs 300 cause it was a v6 but if it only gets one mile better, its not worth it,also it looks like its gonna push my year choice up,they didnt make a nice looking one till 06,Again $ isnt a issue but i like to buy cars with the big depreciation already out of them, and thats around a 05 right now for most cars, not sure on a lex. also you know anything about this AWD thats in some of them,is it decent? wonder how much more fuel they will suck to drive all 4 wheels?also doesnt look like they make the 350 till 07 thats way too new, what the diff in the 300 and 350?

heres one i was looking at although i can get one much cheaper at auction
