Got a New bent head gasket in the mail :-/

Got the Stone OEM gasket kit online, and it was sent in a box smaller than the kit so it was shoved in and bent. I'm about to drive to the place and get a replacement, but before I do, is it possible to still use a composite head gasket after its been bent like 20 degrees? Doesn't have any creases in it, just bent like a banana :-/

what kind of Stock "composite" are we talking about

-Graphite faced w/ perforated steel core
-Fiber/cellulose faced w/ perforated steel core
-Metal faced w/ Fiber/binding agent core

if it was bent TOO much, the facing could de-laminate from the core. graphite is shitty like that. the fiber-cellulose gasket (like domestic V8 Fel-pro gaskets) is probably less likely to separate. the metal faced one (which ive had the only one anyone i know has heard of) should also be usable.
i'd get a replacement. i mean shit if its close enough to where you're even CONSIDERING driving there then why the hell not get a new one?
Stone OEM gasket kit?
Why would you replace a headgasket with a long history of failure with another stock replacement?

It was meant to be.

Buy a MHG.
im tossing my aftermarket gasket in the garbage. Those aftermarket gasket looks like complete shit. If you compare it to a toyota one you'll see why you should do the same
Ive got an extra new Toyota one sitting around in Irvine left over from the gasket kit. But if I were you I'd try to get yours replaced by the company. The last thing you need is to install the gasket and find out that its already busted and you just wasted even more hours of your time.
I was told Stone head gaskets are made by the same people that make OEM head gaskets, thats why I got it. Gonna call up the place I got it from and try to get it replaced. Hey Chris, you finally fix that blown head gasket? :)

Dude why are you going through the whole process of doing all this, just to put a POS OEM gasket back on? Spend the extra money for piece of mind and for "preventative maintenance" and put the metal head gasket on there. If not, you are asking for trouble and will probably be back in there in another year or two with the same problem.

I have personally done 5 metal head gasket jobs just this year. 4 of them were people who did it themselves first and used an OEM gasket and one was someone who did use a metal head gasket but didn't prep the block well enough and it blew.

Don't skimp on something so important!
