so after much waiting i finally got my stage 3 clutch kit. but the disc has a small chip in it. is this going to be a problem or should i send it back?

Call who you bought it from.. let them know the problem and they'll probably replace it for you.. I dont think it would be that big of a problem to use it though, just less friction pad hitting the fw/pp.. If you have the time and patients I say see if you can get it replaced..
