Since my model is a MKIV I figured I'd put it here

I recently picked up a Tamiya TL-01 electric RC car and am in the process of putting it together. My father was big into modeling his whole life and offered to paint the car, so I left the kit with him for a while to let him do his thing.

The end result below (he's still finishing the wing)

dude u bought the wrong car. i hope u didnt pick this kit just cuz it was a supra... u can get the supra body easily seperately. shoulda gotten the tc3, or maybe a losi. the really good tamiya kits are over priced.

I purposely got the Tamiya kit b/c when I was younger my folks couldn't afford to get me one, and after growing up I wanted to pick one up. Saw it, saw it was electric, and looked neat, so I went for it. I'm not interested in going nuts, it's about finding something I would have liked to have had when I was younger.

Paint looks good so far!! I just bought a Supra body for my HPI RS4... Still trying to decide if I should go with RSP paint or something similar (in blue)

I'd have to check the brand of paint that he used, but I know it looks pretty neat!
