I just installed one of these on my JDM MKIV car and during the installation i was thinking that the JDM ECU reads from the same turbo pressure sensor (unlike the US MKIV which takes the ECU reading from a separate MAF sensor) and by installing the BCC the ECU will be fouled and will not see more than 3.91 Volt which is about 13 PSI. Anyways, I thought that i was wrong and after i installed it, I cranked the boost to about 16 PSI and the engine was leaning and detonating like hill. So, if that the case the BCC is useless for the JDM Supras.
Please someone correct me if am wrong.

I have a jdm spec and I have not had a probloem with it, it's set at 9 o'clock standard and I've adjusted it to 1 o'clock due to the fact it was set for an mr2 the voltages are a bit different if you set it to 2-3 o'clock it will start hitting fuel cut again, make sure you set it to 1 o'clock and then reset the ecu and see how you go I've installed 2 of these and never had this problem

oh and on both the supras that have this greddy bcc we run 17-18psi been doin it for over a year no lean conditions or detonation ever,
other things I suggest is coder spark plug smaller gap and platinum or iridium tipped, BP ultimate, check so you have the wiring correct on BCC and turn it 1/4 and a bit turn clockwise from standard reset ecu if you still hit detonation then it must be something else, good luck mate

Thank you for your replay.
As for the engine, upgrades on the car so far are the following:
1- Greddy T-88 34D turbo kit
2- HKS 720cc injectors
3- HKS Fuel Rail
4- HKS 272 Cams
5- HKS Sprockets
6- HKS Twin power ignition
7- HKS Racing Pro R45 = #9 spark plugs
8- Apexi AFC
9- Greddy Oil catch tank
10- Aeromotive Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
11- HKS SEQ BOV
12- HKS Drag Exhaust System

I was trying to play with the AFC to control the bigger injectors but the BCC is installed down stream of the AFC so for the high boost sitting it has no effect because the AFC is simply manipulating the pressure signal to the ECU. it is set to -50% all the way to about 3450 RPM to compensate for the larger injectors but the car still running rich but the engine seams to be running happy with the rich mixer. The cold spark plug doesn’t like the extra fuel at the low rpm tough.

By the way, when i opened the BCC i found an adjustable resistor but it was dark so i didn’t notice any marks on it. So do you mean by adjusting it to 1 o’clock i should be fine to 17PSI?
Please let me know, and thank you in advance
Husam.
