The title says it all guys. What I am doing is updating the site with some new parts and I thought that while I'm add it I can add to the gauges where you can mount their sensors. The one I am having trouble with is the Greddy water temp. I think Bishop has one, so I'm hoping he will respond. Where does the Greddy temp probe fit? Thanks!

I believe the greddy sensor fit just the same as the HKS one which I have. and its on the Tstat housing, tapped a thread and put the fitting there.

i'd assume the greddy gauge came w/a number of adaptors, etc. my autometer did. and yes, i have confirmed it fits there- i've got it in both my cars and installed it in dozens of others....

I also have the Greddy water temp gauge, whilst you can put it in those locations, i purchased the Greddy T - peice, its anondized blue and has the correct thread in it for the sensor. All you do is approx cut one inch out of your top hose and attach. Works great and no leaks.

FYI,
The port for all the connectors / fittings on the thermo housing is 3/8NPT. The turbo water cool feed pipe port that's on top of the water housing is 1/4NPT - this is where my Omori Meter water temp sensor resides. Since the sensor was 1/8NPT thread, I simply sourced a 1/4 to 1/8NPT adapter from the local hardware store. The same could be done for the ports on the thermo housing.

temp sender

you can get a metric gauge adaptor kit for about 6 dollars from oreilly and it will go in the bvsv port and your greddy temp probe threads right in! mine works perfect!

Oh! my bad,
The port on the top of the water housing for the turbo coolant hose is the turbo's coolant return line. That port is 1/4NPT or whatever the equivalent BSP fitting is. My 1/4NPT fitting fitted up quite well.

Trent's initial inquiry was how to solution the placement of the sensor I presume for a package deal... Greddy does have water house adapters in selective size ranges for this purpose. It'll require splicing of the top rad hose to insert this piece. I do believe the Toyo's hose ID is 34mm for the 7M, IIRC.

I might be having an "off" evening, but what is that black thing you are tapping to put a temp sensor into, Dominic? It ooks like you're running two aftermarket temp sensors?
