Group deal on 45% stiffer front swaybars!

As some of you may recall, earlier this year Phil Panas ran a group deal for a TRD-quality "bigass" rear swaybar that was "53+" percent stiffer than stock. This bar reduced body roll considerably, but also drastically changed the Supra's cornering attitude from moderate understeer to mild and possibly moderate oversteer. While anybody that saw me on the road course at Tx2k1 can attest this sort of sideways setup is fun, and good for tight autocrossing and intentional "drifting", it's not the fastest way around the track, nor is it for the faint at heart. After testing and experience with the 53+% rear bar, we have determined that optimal balance would be somewhere in the middle -- ie. the bigass rear swaybar combined with a ~45% stiffer front swaybar.

Well, now your suspension package can finally be complete. After much R&D for just the right stiffness for the front bar, we're about to have a run of matching bigass front swaybars made. These will be ~45% stiffer than stock, and will be the PERFECT compliment to the bigass rear swaybar releasted this spring. Thew new bigass front swaybar will be ALMOST as aggressive as the rear, but not quite, so as to get rid of the understeer in the stock swaybar setup without the significant oversteer that is prevalent today in Supras with a regular TRD front and a "53+%" stiffer bigass rear sway bar. (I personally am running *TINY* 255mm size tires up front and 315s in back to counteract this oversteer from the 27% TRD front and the custom bigass rear sway bar. I can't wait to get my 45% stiffer front sway bar, as then I'll be able to run 275s up front without massive oversteer, which I think will net me at LEAST a second in lap times around Texas World Speedway. And anybody who's road raced knows that in road racing, a second is an ETERNITY.)

As a side note, Dusty at MVP Motorsports bought into the group deal last time and he still has a handful of the bigass rear sway bars in stock.
