Do any GT42's come with a 66MM inducer wheel. Ive seen a couple turbos on ebay claiming that they are GT42's but the specs dont match up with whats on the Garrett web site.. Can someone give me some input on this..

Because the GT42's you are looking at on ebay are probably master power.

No... I see the master power ones on there, and then there are people claiming to have genuine garrett turbo (says Garrett on the houseing), but the specs that they are provideing with the turbo are no where near whats on the website..

probably heavy duty turbo like GT4288N, GT4288S, GT4294, GT4294S etc.

you could download BTN turbo catalog or you could search turbomaster website

Found out its a gt4288.. Whats everyone think of this turbo.. I can get it pretty cheap. Could i change the wheel on it and make it a gt4294 or gt4202. It has a 82mm turbine wheel already on it..

What happened with this turbo? I'm interested in something simular.

Are you sure it wasn't a GT40-88 ??
