what is the lag difference between the 47-80 and 47-88? i know the 88 is rated to 1500 crank hp, the 80?

from what i've read here on the forums you can rev a 3.4 stroker to 8500-9k rpm. the gain that i like with the stroker is the amount of torque, which is why i've always wanted to do a 3.4 stroker whenever i get a chance to do a single turbo build on a supra/sc300.jp- very nice, thanks for the data/your experience! wow if it's a 800rpm difference from 3.0- 3.4 PLUS a 75hp+ that's pretty huge...

I rev'd my 3.0 and 3.4L to 10,000rpm on a regular basis....... NO issues at all.....

with a 88 and spray... a 3.0 will not live long. it will live, but bearing wear will be greatly increased! With the crank flex with a stock crank it is worth the money to do the stroker if you are planning on 88 and spray. 76 + spray is the way to goMy car has 30psi at 5000 rpm and makes power to 8400. 1050whp on boost and close to 1300 with all the nitrous. It's a lot more streetable than a gt47 setup and is much easier on engine parts since you don't have to rev the shit out of it to make it move!
From what i've seen, the 47-80R isn't any better than a regular 47-80. Spoolup and horsepower were both the same, we did a back to back test.
