Forgive me if I've posted in the wrong section.
I am currently building a 1.5jz, originally I planned on using the GTE pistons, so I purchased a set. But now that its time to start assembly I don't feel comfortable with the set of GTE pistons that I have. I need help determining if I should stick with the GE's that came with the engine or continue with the gte's Ive acquired. Im aware the GE's offer a little more compression which will also increase chances of knock. Other than this is their any other downfalls of using the GE pistons? Ive seen stock GE longblocks make 800+! So I feel somewhat safe using the GE pistons, wouldnt mind the extra spool and tq either
My goals are ~700whp on E85 and ~500 on pump. Am In in the "safe" zone?
Mods:

Any helpful information/posts will be appreciated. Please don't come in here talking BS just to get a post count.
Thanks!
