I was looking for some info when I came upon this great guide for tuning piggy back fuel/ignition units like the MAP ECU. There is a lot of good info here, especially about how to use an OBDII scanner to look at the fuel trims to get your fueling right in closed loop. They also list a nice, cheap OBDII scanning adapter/program.

Thanks! Haven't looked at it yet, but I need some help.

I have a T78 6sp with 720s and the PHR map doesn't work for shit.

The MAP ECU is probably fine, it is the Supra base fuel maps for the various injector sizes I was refering to.

They have some maps they recommend using so you don't have to use auto-learn. I used the map for 720cc injectors and my AFR is all over the place and the car needs to be re-tuned almost completely.
