I've read a bunch on this, and after i couple searches i wanna be better safe then sorry. anyway, I do not have anysymptoms of a BHG, infact car is suppose to have a MHG. Anyway I can hear slight Gurgling, everyone once in awhile afte ri rev the car high, not running it hard, or after along drive, i mean as an example i can rev it 5 times to 4k at a stop
light and maybe 1 of the 4 times it will gargle. Car does not overheat, never has, running it hard or sitting still. Car runs great, never missed, does backfire somewhat often, but i have a full 2.75" open exhuast, so that would be somewhat normal right? I've read about checking the thermostat, and bleeding the system, ill be checking alot of it out tomarrow just trying to get aheads up on what else i should be looking for.

wat.. do u mean the exhaust gargles? cuz thats just normal when u have a free flowing exhaust...

If you have a bubble in coolant it will gurgle... mine gurgles, and I cannot seem to get the damned air bubble out... yet i dont' have a bhg

I Dont have a bhg and when i boost or as of yesterday take off in first and second my temp needle goes down when i accelerate then evens out back to normal.

I have absolutly NO issues with the temp guage, never has overheated, never boiled over in the colant overflow, it just gargles directly behind the dash periodically...

so its just a common thing? Mine doesn't do it just when cold, it does it periodically, warm cold whatever whenever, not loud or bad, along with a slight tap from the head... which always scares me into thinking i have rodknock! lol those are my only serious problems as of right now, and arn't really problems just me being picky... better safe then sorry

i just heard that it's a bubble in the heater core. your not overheating cooling system pressurizes and all that it's fine :/ i think....

well i just replacent it 3000 miles ago with commetic and arp'[email protected]
it did this before i replaced the HG too. never had a BHG just replaced it for safty.

I'm not worried about it to be honest I have a back up car... but I'm sure the headgasket is fine...

Yea I think the majority of supras have the early morning gurgle as I call it (I'm guessing it's due to old coolant hoses going to the heater, get small cracks and suck up a little bit of air). It used to be a lot worse when I first bought the car but over time I think the air got itself out. Flushing the coolant DID NOT fix this for me... I had it drained and the radiator flushed, and I still had a big bubble in the coolant making me overheat after about 5 mins from a cold start. I was thinking fuck I have a BHG, it's obvious now. So last night I was leaving the track, got back to the main road, waiting to see the temp needle jump (The big bubble took about 5 mins to get to the engine), I saw it jump, started revving the shit outta my car going to like 6000 (This advice was given to me, I didn't just do it randomly), and honestly it must have gotten the bubble completely out. I didn't overheat today at all. 3 cold starts today, temp needle stayed perfect the whole time, and believe me I was watching it more than the road so I don't fuck up my block by overheating. I'm very happy

Just try it, that and burping the system, which I've never done cuz I'm lazy.
