coming back from the 60E someone threw a rock about the size of 3 baseballs through my windshield

it went through my windshield, off my dash, off my steering wheel skimmed my face and into my carbon fiber dash and lodged itself 3 inches away from my face between my bride seats and the dash that the seatbelt is bolted on to...oh and it also scratched the hell out of my driver side windshield.

My friend following me in the wrx got his door dented when another rock flew into his door, and 5 minutes later after we had pulled over another car with a smashed windshield pulled over next to us...

can't claim insurance because my deductible is $1000

We also called the cops, in hopes that no one else would get hurt, but they were saying that the same thing was happening last night...
this happend around 11pm the night before my birthday. but they were pretty cool, they started asking me about my carbon fiber business... go figure

the car was finally done, and this had to go and happen. Oh yes and i have pictures which will be posted tommorow. I also have the 6lb rock that nearly smashed my face.

so my 21st birthday wish goes out to the stupid kids that threw the rock, i hope they die a horrible horrible death and have rocks pelted at their balls...

im done venting, on the bright side im glad i wasn't seriously hurt,

btw Curt aigner would you like to help me out on a discount on a driver side window and the plastic pannel on the driver side seatbelt?

Hell! that sucks a lot! Really sad to hear that! Some yrs ago in italy we had the same problem... kids throwing stones from the bridges over highways... stupid journalist made a lot of information about that and more kids wanted to emulate so i remember people was pretty scared driving because now and then you were informed of a damaged car etc etc. After a couple of months from the beginning of the story a girl died. she was on passenger seat and the pics of the hole the stone made thru the windshield were impressive! The stone hit her face and broke her head. she died immediately. Some of the kids (almos all from 15 to 18) were taken in prison, but some others have never been traced. fortunately now we don't hear of similar happenings anymore... it is sad i've heard from supraforums another event like this.

I'm happy you're still alive, and i hope your car will be fixed soon. If only windshield/plastic trim are damaged the cost for repair won't be too high, and that's a good think too

Just be glad your safe and that neither you nor your friend got hurt. I'm sure the kids will get caught sooner or later and they will get what they deserve.

Oh man, thats horrible news to hear and a terrible birthday present. Surprisingly you dont sound as pissed as I would have been if some little fucker did that to my car.

Definately stake out the area with some friends and throw the same rock at their balls and see how they like it.

sorry to hear about this much damage. On my 16th birthday, when i just got my old car, some kids threw rocks also, but it just made a big dent and didn't go through the windshield (thank God)

unfortunately i will not be able to find the shitheads that did this as it could have come from any backyard there,

i'll post up pics today , it's definately a sight to see

but yes i am counting my blessings, my gf bought me a fmic from horsepower freaks so that is brightening up my day
