That's not a bad time at all; it's great if it's your first time at the WSIR. The Supra's I've seen at WS have run 1:42 - 1:38, so you're right in there. Basically, fast street cars at full weight can run about down to 1:35 or so, after which weight-reduced cars and full race cars run from there down to the high 1:20's.vande17941 said:I was pulling 1:38.55 lap times at Willow Springs last weekend in my BPU Supra TT with Eibach Pro Springs and Bridgestone R1a Dot-R tires. Just wondering if anyone else has driven the track in their Supra TT, and what the lap time were so I have something to compare to.
Some fast times by good drivers are:
Doug Hayashi - s/c nsx - 1:29
Doug Hayashi - stock F355 - 1:38 (street tires I believe)
Paul Mumford - viper ACR - 1:27
Michael Andretti - 1987 CART-1:06
Nigel Mansell - 1982 era F1 - 1:06
