Just curious if anyone has run a 285/40/18 Nitto NT05R tire on their supra?

A. How does it hook on the street
B. Would it fit a slightly lowered car without a rolled rear?

not sure if it would fit with a OD of 27"

anyone?

Right now I'm running Sumitumo HTRZ III in 275/35/18 and their looks to be some room to upgrade.

i have 285/40 nitto on the rears,they hook alot better than my last set!!!although i miss the looks of a wide tire in the rear....

No rubbing issues? Are your wheel wells rolled? What size were you running before you got the nt05r?

i was a running a 285/35 ,it was too thin an drove like shit !!! when i got the new tires installed they were rubbing a bit,but then went home an adjusted my megan coilovers height ,an no more rubbing!!! it wasnt rubbing bad at all, i did have to bent the inner fender just a bit, just to get home???

ok anyone else run these? or would i be better off with a 295/35/18 nt05 ?
