Well I just bought a used maxx evo i/c and pipes. After doing a search, I couldnt find anyone that has actually tried fitting the stock bumper with it. I wonder if it will fit given I remove the bumper support and cut up the bumper. I dont care if it looks pretty , just a temporary thing. Anyone successfully do it? Also has anyone used a front bumper besides the maxx that worked? ANy info would help thanks.

I have a huge IC with large end tanks, i was able to keep the factory bumper. I had to cut out abunch of material to make it fit.

Some have removed the grill section, but to me that looks crappy, mine still looks factory. I was unable to keed the fog lights.

I will post a pic of the bumper after the IC install later.

My 30x12x3 IC fits behind the stock bumper. I didn't modify anything but the center bracket.

I haver this IC going in my car, it is an Evo 8 IC upgrade. I havent installed it yet but it will barely fit between the frame rails. It has a 24x12x3.5" core, I had 3" inlet/outlet welded on for my 1J setup.

the intercooler i got from randy is 24x12x3.5". Fits behind the bumper support and all.
