Building a motor and already have the following:

Fully port and polished head. Ferrea Everything and 1mm oversized intake and exhaust. HKS 280 Cams. HKS Cam Gears. HKS Timing Belt.

Engine has Carillo H beams with CARR. Stock Crank. Billet Mains. ARP Main studs. L19 Headstud (standard size). HKS Headgasket. VW Intake minfold. Stock displacement 3.0

HERE IS MY QUESTION.
I will be running E85 fuel. I will be buying the Titan Ultimate pistons but haven't decided on the CR for them yet. I havent decided whether to go with a T4 or T6 yet. I want 1000+ horsepower BUT!!! I want it to spool up as fast as possible on boost only!

I was thinking GT42-76 1.10ar with DBB and 8.8:1 CR on the pistons.
Any other possible set up ideas? The head has been designed to FLOW. I want this bitch to spool up fast with 1000HP+

Thanks for any input guys.

i have a stroker build nearing completion. planning to run E exclusively. my builder (one of the most respected 2jz builders in our community) advised we use 9.5:1 CP's. i have, however, read recent opinions from other knowledgable folks here (alpha, iirc) suggesting that E love compression, and if your intention is to run it ALL the time, consider 10:1 static comp.

I dunno bout that. I'd be a little nervous about using 10:1 Compression together with a huge turbo...

As stated above, the technology for tuning we have now is amazing. Compression is a good thing with a turbo. There are many turbo cars running around in the 12:0 areas making 1200+ and those are damn 4cyl motors.

I would do a solid 10:1 without fear. The motor generates a nice gain in tq from the rasied ratio, responds faster & is even easier to drive on the streets. You have a nice set of rods, put em to use lol
