I'm about to replace a blown headgasket on my 7m and I need to know what torque the head bolts need, the manually says 58 but I am pretty sure that I've heard 75 what should I do

Are you putting a OEM head gasket in? Then yes... follow what Heretic said and go with the 75ft lbs.

Agreed! 75ft lbs but use ARP bolts or studs and their moly lube on the threads & on TOP of the washers. Go 3-4 passes in sequence to reach final torque. ( I went 4 20,40,60,75)
Don't take a chance with the higher torque with the stock Toyota bolts.

Did mine in '06 with a Cometic MHG. No problems & that was 26k miles ago

New stock bolts: 75
ARP studs: 86

Do NOT reuse stock bolts.
