Ok, in my 1990 Supra the stock head units for the cd player and radio is really big 2 peices I believe. I have found a awsome cd player but the problem is it looks like it will only replace one of the head units and I really dont want to leave a big hole were the other one is to make it look bad. Any ideas?? Oh and how hard is it to replace the stock one?

Metra makes a "toyota pocket" that will mount to the factory brackets and take care of the remaining hole that you are referring to.

Any decent stereo shop should be able to help you out and most should have the pocket I am referring to.

I believe the older Supras also have an amp in them just as the MKIV does. It would be advisable to have a shop do the installation unless you are a patient do-it-yourselfer.

My 1990 had no factory el ampo. I think only 91's and 92's with the 7 speaker sound system or whatever the hell it is, had separate amp.
