Has anyone upgraded their headgasket to an aftermarket one? If so, please let me know which one and how much HP you are putting out.

My headgaskets blown and will need to replace with a stronger one.

I would go with HKS, or I guess Powerhouse makes one. I don't know that its really as much of an issue of blowing them out. I think its more of an issue of replacing it with a thicker gasket to lower the compression ratio for more boost.

Others correct me if I'm wrong, I don't have any experience with this.

I called PHR and they recommend the HKS unless you have your engine out of the car- then they recommend theirs since it's an O-ring type. I guess they have to machine your head for that type.

I put in an HKS headgasket...I think it was around $330 for it - however, thanks to L10 - I haven't been able to turn up the wick yet to see how it holds some extreme boost.
