Which one do I need to lower compression on the 2JZGE?
Is this a good headgasket to run?

id say you could go for a phr 3mm metal headgasket (~8.7:1 compression ratio - $450)....thats what i am probably gonna go with if i get a supra to go NA-T...if the kit is under 10k, which it better be i was gonna go for the phr stage 2 kit....~500whp

...I thought the 3mm dropped compression lower than 8.7:1 even lower than 8.5:1 Can someone confirm the number? How about the 2mm?

I believe that the 2.0mm gets you right near 8.4:1 ... 3.0mm gets you really low.

I have an extra HKS 1.6mm for sale for quite a long time now ...

do a search for motorheaddown, he breaks down the numbers with his calculations. From what I recall the 2mm brings you closer to 8.5

motorheaddown's calculations show 3mm working out to 8.3:1 on a GE, this is what i'm using but it's close to 8.5:1 with the VVT-i head.
