I'm looking for a turbo heat shield that looks like this:

This particular heat shield pictured is for a t3 turbo. I don't know if it will fit my SP61 turbo. Tim from Sound Performance says that the SP61 turbo fill fit a stock heat shield. I don't have a stock heat shield or stock turbo that I can take meausements from. Any have any pictures of one this style shield on a 7M or know were I can find one that will fit?

Thanks,
Dennis

I took a 4" pipe and cut it open, and stretch fitted it around my T4.

To better keep the heat in, I blanketed the turbine housing with heat wrap too.

I'm sure that guy up there will fit just fine.

So you think that the stock exhaust housing is close to a t3 type housing?

T3 housing doesn't mean anything in relation to size in a way: (besides bolt spacing size).
It's the A/R of the turbine housing you need.

That heat shield should say it can fit .58AR to .90AR or something like that.

These are the kind that WILL matter, since you can see it gets bolted to the tightening bolts for clocking the housings.

But ATP says this guy will fit a T3, T4, and even GT30 R style housings.
So I suppose most any AR housing will fit under it.

Just use sheet metal. Cut it up and drill holes.
Exactly what I did... I didn't want to pay 60 dollars for something I could make myself.

Here is an old pic.

You can kind of see it...

Or get some thin aluminium and polish it before bending, inside and outside. Outside for the Bling*-factor, inside for the heatshield-factor.

While on the subject anybody know where I can buy one of those pimp jackets for the turbine? The fabric looking ones, not the dei tin foil one...
