Mostly dead links in the in the archived or original threads of same subject.
I'm in the process of replacing my heater core in mmt '88T. I have the dash crash bar removed at the moment, and about to tackle removing the hvac components and wish to know if anyone have any instructions or pictures I could use as guidance? I'm sure I can proceed and be successful, but I want to expedite the process and also become aware of any potential pitfalls or issues.

Heater and A/C housings came out easier than I anticipated. Disconnecting all the attached electrical connectors, unbolting, then gingerly and methodically pull the housings towards you off of the studs. Remember to also detach the engine bay a/c lines, and the heater hoses prior.
Now, off to sourcing the heat exchanger o-rings. Too bad the 2 outlet tubes are discontinued. Anyone have a solution for these tubes? The ends are rather deformed, and out of round.
