HELP!

Im trying to figure out where this arm attaches. It is a threaded metal rod w a plastic plug on the end and it looks like it would control and move the flapper of the heater core box and divert air

i figured it out, connect to a ducting piece that sits on top of heater core, in case anyone every pulls their dash too, just fyi...
