New to this forum but been working for Toyota/scion for 2 years now.
Always wanted a mk4 supra currently driving a 2003 BMW m3 coupe for about 3 years now.
Wanted to join a forum without a bunch of BMW douchebag.
Most those idiots at BMW forum who drive a non m series care about is m this and m that and angel eye...LOL
Hope to get in a mk4 supra soon and get rid of my m3
Hopefully I see you guys around driving in northeast Philadelphia.

Thanks bro

Just one question to supra enthusiast.
I know this question probably been ask a bunch before.
Looking to get a factory twin turbo mk4 supra but they are still kind of pricey for modified or low miles one.
I was wondering do the factory non turbo supra has the same piston, rings, compression ratio, etc.
Or is the same with just a turbo and one extra gear in the manual trans.
Thanks

I have not learned enough yet Im still reserching, but I know that the j-spec and export supras have a horsepower diffrence and the fuel injectors are diffrent, by the engine setups and the manifolds configuration I imagine there will be a diffrent compression ratio due to the fact of being n/a and forced induction but I still need to do some reserch as I come from a mustang background.

Yes, they are different in a few good places. Compression is higher, and so is the fuel injectors. The usdm and jdm supras are different in HP also. USDM come with approx 320, as the jdm come around 280 or something like that if im not mistaken. turbo's i think are smaller in jdm also. Just search and troll... Youll find what you need.

Welcome to the forum.. If the objective is to just get your foot in the supra, while not spending a fortune, you could get a NA supra and slap a turbo on it..

they are rated at 280 on paper, but they actually put down a close amount of power like the USDM ones. My bone stock JDM put down 315bhp on the dyno. So few hp give or take they are almost the same.

Probably would save up to get a factory twin turbo supra cause don't you have to put different pistons and rods if you slap turbo on a n/a
Plus I would like to keep the car for along time
