Hehehe, he makes getting a MHG sound scary. Has anyone had a leaky MHG after getting it machined?

if you have it machiend properly you should not have problems..

if you machien the ehad and block and theya re flat and use some arp bolts it should seal fine...

if you have problems the machine work was done improperly
in this case you might beable to squeeze by usging some napa high tack gasket sealer but you wont be getting that gasket and head off again very easy...

no, a rough machine job calls for lapping of the block deck and head surface...in fact, even if it is a good machine job, lapping should still be performed, because no machine shop can really duplicate the almost mirror smooth finish that is necessary
