Hey guys, we have a customers car stuck here and have an issue that the manufactures technical assistance couldnt help with.

CAR:
1994 Toyoyta Supra twin turbo

PROBLEM: car has a GREDDY BOOST CUT CONTROLLER already installed and MUST stay in for the car to boost over 14 PSI.

We are installing an APEXi S-AFCII and we cant find out whether the AFC needs to go between the ECU and the boost cut controller OR before BOTH units.

PLEASE HELP!! thanks guys

ummm you shouldnt be touching anything thats connected to the BCC anyway unless you have no clue what your hooking up. or the BCC is connected incorrectly. As the BCC and SAFC connects to two different wires and modify the signal for two different things. not the same

Two completely different systems, there should be no wiring in common other than power and ground.

on those two, it doesnt matter what order the items are tapped into the harness.

Ok, everyone seems to say we are 'supposed' to hook up the S-AFC II to the MAF wire on the ECU. In the APEXi installtion diagram, it specificly says to use the boost pressure sensor wire, so we called APEXi and asked if we could use the MAF wire instead and they said to NOT use any wire except the boost pressure wire. I know we are supposed to hook up the BCC inline with the boost pressure wire, and now we know that APEXi requires us to use that SAME wire. If we were to hook up both units inline with the boost pressure sensor wire, what order should they be in? We have assumed that we would run the BCC closest to the ECU, preventing the AFC from ever altering the signal voltage OVER the 4.4 volts or so that would activate the fuel cut. Is this correct!?!?!
