My speedometer says im going 12 mph faster than I really am. Is there an easy way to fix this? Is it a problem that occurs alot?? I think it may be that when the car owner before me put the new 7M in he may not have attached some wires the right way.

also..my trip meter isn't working either.. (the little four/ five digit odometer thing...sorry..i dont know what it is called.)

What part of houston are you from? Sounds like someone replaced the factory Diff with another one that didnt really belong to that car. Or the car might have been an Auto previously.

word. its not X MPH off, it has to be a % off. figure out the % and we can easily figure out what diff was installed...

When your car is off and your stopped does the speedo read 0 or 12?
