ok heres my problem. if i hit the button to turn the cruz controle on it lights ip on my dash. but then when i try to set it nothing happens. its been like this ever since i got the car. it worked for like a week but would turn off randomly. is there a fuse for it somewhere because i couldnt find one? also have any of you guys had this problem before and might know where a lose connection could be?

any help is good help! thanks guys



p.s. i have a 12 hour drive on thursday morning so i really would like this workin!!

Possibly your vehicle speed sensor, that's why mine didn't work.

yeah your speed sensor is possibly bad and also does your over drive light flash sometimes while driveing with in on, i am current have this problem and my curise control doesnt work either but the light turns on in the gauges.

Definetly speed sensor.. you have to re solder everything behind your dash pretty much.. look for the tech article on MKIV.com, its all there.

Denso did a shitty job on the initial solders so they dont last too long.
