hey my 7M lovers i need some input here i removed as much as i could from my engine bay i mean alot of stuff no i have a few Q??


do i need the VSV brown valves or what ever it is it connects to a vacume line and it has a plug for it as well on the harnes?

i took those off when i put my motor in now my car idels kinda funky i mean at like 1300 and it hasnt been tuned yet am still in the break in proces?

so all my emision stuff is out if i put these VSV valves back in will the do any good?

Missing one or both vsv's will not cause your car to idle high or "funky" unless you didn't cap off the associated vacuum lines. Both of my vsv's are removed and I have a perfect idle at 650rpms.

To begin with, check your whole system for boost/vacuum leaks. If that doesn't solve the problem, move on to you ISC valve and TPS. It could be a combination of these, but I'd put money on a leak somewhere. They're easy to overlook when putting everything back together. Good luck
