Hey guys i just got a 1987 with the 7mgte for my first car and im trying to find a bov/bypass valve
Im really new to this and dont even know the difference between either of them :")...I was looking at the bosch one that was like around 100cad and i think turbo xs it was called cant remember. Im just a student so i dont have the budget to go for those hks ones for the moment :cry:

If you're looking for Supra parts, check your local pick a part/wrecking yards or ask the For Sale/Wanted forum here or in the Facebook Supra groups. Otherwise, looks like Bosch is an option for you: https://www.shoarmateam.nl/content/mkiii-supra-bov-replacement/
My BOV is still good; hopefully someone on here has a good tip on where and what to get for replacement. Good luck!

Hi thanks for the help but does the bosh have a different/louder sound than stock ?

The reason why the Bosch BPV was ever intended as a aftermarket mod for this and other cars, was because it was a newer/stronger spring valve.
Also because the valve has ports intended to revert back into the intake. (How you should actually be installing it.)

If all you're after is noise, and stalling engines, just buy something else and vent it to atmosphere.
Kits like these below are probably what you want.
